DESCRIPTION:10th ANNUAL JANIS BRESNAHAN 5K RUN FOR EDUCATION SET FOR MAY 18TH\n\nRoad Race Features 5K Run\, 2-K Fun Run & Walk and Family-Fun Tot Trot!\n\n \n\nPlease join us Sunday May 18\, 2014 for the 10th annual Janis Bresnahan 5K Run for Education! This year's event will feature a competitive 5K run through Ayer\, as well as a 2-K\, non-competitive Fun Run & Walk and a Tot Trot for children through age six. Additional features will include live music\, barbeque\, award ceremony and fun activities for kids of all ages!  \n\nThe event will be held at Ayer Shirley Middle-High School with race day registration beginning at 9:30 a.m.\, the Tot Trot to start at 10:30 a.m.\, the Fun Run & Walk at 11:15 a.m.\, and the 5K start is 12:00 p.m\,  $100 will go to the first place male and female overall finishers for the 5K run. Prizes will also be given to the top finishers in all age categories. Amenities include course mile markers\, chip timing\, water stations\, medical personnel\, refreshments and restrooms. Post race festivities will include an awards ceremony\, barbeque\, live music and fun activities for kids until 2:00 p.m.\n\n \n\nRegistration\, donations\, directions and more information can be found on the race web-site www. janisbresnahanforeducation.com . The pre-registration fee is $10 for the Tot Trot and $15 for the 5K Run or 2  K Run/Walk. The first 300 registered participants will receive a free short sleeve\, 100% cotton race T-shirt. Race day registration is $10 for the Tot Trot and $20 for the 5K Run and 2K Fun Run/Walk.
